TransAmiga BBS

A shareware FidoNet capable BBS for the Amiga.
* General:
-------
- Attractive and easy to use interface for both the caller and the SysOp.
- ANSI graphics support.
- Users can select hotkeys or Opus style command-stacking.
- Edit all user information while the user is online.
- All of the online user's stats are displayed right on the screen for the
SysOp to quickly see.
- Configure which commands from each menu are available to users, and what
access level is required to use them.
- Support for external "doors", with a full ARexx interface coming soon.
- 255 different access levels, daily time limits, upload:download ratios.
- Draw your own custom menus or use the default ones.
* Messages:
--------
- Setup as many message conferences as you want.
- Spread message conferences over several drives.
- Message editor includes the ability to quote from replies.
- Number of new messages posted since last call are displayed upon logon,
as well as the option to check for mail to you.
- Full reply linking.
- Users can mask out message areas they aren't interested in.
* FidoNet:
-------
- Supports net and echomail.
- FidoNet message areas are integrated with local message areas, no need
to run a separate door.
- Messages conform fully with the standard FidoNet message format, so
existing mail processors can handle them with no trouble. No conversion
utilities required. Gets along fine with FastPoint, ConfMail, Global
Conference Control, and others.
- Can operate as a full-node with a frontend mailer such as TrapDoor or
Welmat answering the phone, or can be run as a point.
* Files:
-----
- Set up as many individual file areas as you want.
- Spread file areas over multiple drives.
- Batch send and receives supported.
- Online viewing of archive contents. Can easily be configured to support
any archiving method.
- Support for the powerful XPR external file transfer protocol libraries.
- Setup only the protocols you want, no need to waste space with unwanted
protocols.
- File listing is not limited to MS-DOS file naming conventions, any valid
AmigaDOS file name up to 20 characters is acceptable.
- List files in current area or glabally list all files.
- New files are highlighted in the file listing.
* Availability:

- Mid-October!
- A working freely distributable version with some features removed will
be made available.
